A series of carnival-style events will be held to help achieve their $1million goal
_BRAMPTON – In a remarkable show of support for SickKids, Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare Center is proud to launch its annual SickKids fundraising initiative. Throughout the month of May, each Lullaboo location will offer food, activities, games and raffles for parents and the community to enjoy while helping fund critical research and care for children in need.
“We are excited to kick off our SickKids fundraising month and to do our part in supporting the incredible work that SickKids does for children and their families,” said Irini Mikhael, Chief Operating Officer of Lullaboo. “We believe that every child deserves access to the best possible care in our centres and while seeking medical care, and we are committed to making a positive impact in our community.”
We will launch our SickKids Fundraising event on May 2nd across all 16 Lullaboo locations. Each child enrolled at Lullaboo will participate by wearing pyjamas for the day! These PJ’s are extra special designed specifically for our Lullaboo children!
“We are grateful for the support of Lullaboo and the entire community in helping us to make a difference in the lives of children and their families,” said Julie Garcia Sjogrim, Vice-President, Corporate and Community Partnerships, SickKids Foundation.
“Together, we can help to ensure that every child receives the care and support they need to thrive.”
Lullaboo has made a public commitment to raise $1 million for SickKids by 2025.
“Ensuring children are well cared for when parents are at work is critical to their health and growth, and to the economy,” said Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton. “It is wonderful to see Lullaboo host these events to benefit SickKids who do crucial work to support children across Ontario.”
